International mobility support for non-EU applicants

Romania & Bulgaria visa, residence and immigration support

Planning to visit, work, study, join family, establish a business or build a longer-term life in Romania or Bulgaria? We help you identify the relevant route, organise the document process and coordinate practical steps with employers, translators, notaries and authorised professionals where required.

Every case depends on nationality, current country of legal residence, destination, purpose, documents and current official rules. Authorities make all visa, work-authorisation, residence and entry decisions.

Prestări Servicii is an independent service-coordination platform. We are not an embassy, consulate, immigration authority or law firm. We do not issue visas, permits or citizenship and cannot influence official decisions.

Choose the route that best matches your plans

The correct route is determined by what you want to do, how long you intend to stay and whether you already have an employer, family member, university, business plan or other qualifying basis.

Short visit and Schengen travel route icon

Short visit and Schengen travel

Support for understanding document requirements for tourism, private visits, business visits, conferences, cultural activities, medical travel or other permitted short stays. Romania and Bulgaria are full Schengen members, but a short-stay visa does not permit ordinary long-term residence or unrestricted employment.

Employment and work authorisation route icon

Employment and work authorisation

Coordination for applicants who have, or are seeking, a genuine employment route. In many cases the employer must complete an authorisation stage before the applicant can request a long-stay visa and later a residence document.

Highly qualified work and specialist roles route icon

Highly qualified work and specialist roles

Preliminary screening for routes that may apply to highly qualified workers, specialists, researchers, intra-corporate transferees or other categories with specific education, salary, contract or experience requirements.

Seasonal or temporary employment route icon

Seasonal or temporary employment

Coordination for seasonal, fixed-term or other limited employment categories where available. Conditions, employer obligations and permitted duration differ from ordinary employment.

Study and education route icon

Study and education

Support for university, postgraduate, vocational or other recognised study routes, including document preparation, translations, legalisation and the transition from admission documentation to visa and residence steps.

Family reunification and family members route icon

Family reunification and family members

Coordination for spouses, minor children and other family situations recognised by law. The route depends on the status of the sponsor, proof of relationship, housing, resources and the destination country’s rules.

Business, commercial activity and self-employment route icon

Business, commercial activity and self-employment

Initial route assessment for founders, shareholders, administrators, investors, independent professionals and people planning commercial activity. Company formation alone does not guarantee a visa or residence right.

Research, volunteering, religious or special-purpose stay route icon

Research, volunteering, religious or special-purpose stay

Support for cases based on recognised research, volunteer, religious, humanitarian or other legally defined purposes, subject to the receiving organisation and official requirements.

Residence renewal and change of purpose route icon

Residence renewal and change of purpose

Practical coordination for applicants already lawfully present who need to extend residence, update documents, notify changes or assess whether a lawful change of purpose may be available.

Long-term or permanent residence planning route icon

Long-term or permanent residence planning

A planning service for people who already have a qualifying period of lawful residence and want to understand the evidence, continuity, absence, income, housing, insurance and other requirements that may apply. This is not a promise that the period already completed qualifies.

Citizenship pathway orientation route icon

Citizenship pathway orientation

General administrative orientation on where citizenship sits in the longer journey. Citizenship is not a visa and is governed by separate legal conditions. Legal analysis and representation are referred to authorised professionals.

Other lawful immigration routes icon

Other lawful immigration routes

Preliminary screening for other legally defined travel or residence purposes, subject to current rules and confirmation by the competent authority.

Two destinations, separate national procedures

Romania and Bulgaria are EU Member States and full members of the Schengen area. This helps lawful short-term movement within Schengen, but immigration status remains route-specific and country-specific.

A Romanian visa or residence permit is not a Bulgarian work permit. A Bulgarian permit is not a Romanian employment authorisation. Neither automatically gives a non-EU national the right to live or work permanently throughout the European Union.

We help you compare the practical route based on intended purpose, employer or sponsor location, language and sector, family links, university or receiving organisation, business plan, current lawful residence, expected duration, document availability, consular filing location and post-arrival obligations.

What we can coordinate

Preliminary route screening

We collect the essential facts, identify the likely route and flag obvious gaps before you spend money on translations, appointments or travel.

Personal document checklist

You receive a case-specific working checklist rather than a generic list copied from the internet. Final official requirements must still be confirmed for your route and filing location.

Forms and file organisation

We help organise forms, declarations, appointment records, employer or sponsor documents and supporting evidence into a coherent file.

Certified translations

Coordination with authorised translators for civil-status, education, employment, financial, corporate and other documents.

Apostille, legalisation and notarial steps

Coordination for apostille, superlegalisation, certified copies, notarised declarations, powers of attorney and related formalities when required.

Employer and sponsor coordination

We can help organise the exchange of documents between applicant, employer, family sponsor, university, host or other relevant party.

Appointment preparation

Practical preparation for consular, immigration, biometric or document-submission appointments, including a final administrative file review.

Courier and document movement

Where lawful and practical, we can coordinate secure courier, collection, delivery and document tracking. Original passports should only be transferred under an agreed and appropriate process.

Arrival, residence and relocation steps

Support after entry with practical next actions such as residence applications, address evidence, translations, appointments, document collection, accommodation search, property checks, utilities, local registrations, transport and family logistics.

Work visa and employment routes

For many non-EU applicants, the process begins with a genuine employer and an employer-led authorisation stage. A long-stay visa and a post-arrival residence permit may then be required.

We can coordinate initial candidate information, employer document exchange, work-authorisation file organisation, contract and job-description documents, translations, legalisation, visa-stage checklist, appointment preparation, arrival planning, residence-permit checklist, renewal reminders and document updates.

We do not sell work permits, manufacture employment contracts or guarantee a job. Any separate recruitment or job-matching service must use genuine vacancies and transparent employer terms.

Job placement is separate from visa and residence coordination. Any recruitment support must be based on genuine vacancies, transparent employer terms and the applicable work-authorisation process; no job or placement is guaranteed.

Travel and short-stay support

Short stays may cover tourism, visiting family or friends, business meetings, events, medical reasons and other permitted purposes. The usual maximum under Schengen short-stay rules is governed by the 90 days in any 180-day period framework, but nationality, existing permits and individual circumstances matter.

Support may include purpose and destination review, accommodation or invitation-document coordination, travel medical insurance guidance, itinerary evidence, financial evidence checklist, ties to home country, family-visit documents, business invitations and application-file review.

A visa does not guarantee entry. Border authorities may assess purpose, funds, accommodation, insurance, security and other entry conditions.

Study, research and graduate options

We assist prospective students and researchers with the administrative chain between admission, document recognition where applicable, visa, travel and residence.

Possible support includes admission documents, education translations, apostille/legalisation, funds, accommodation, insurance, minor-student parental documents, research hosting documentation, post-arrival residence steps and practical orientation on lawful work options during or after studies, subject to current rules.

Admission to an institution and immigration approval are separate decisions.

Family and dependant routes

Family applications often require careful proof of identity, relationship, sponsor status, housing and resources.

We can coordinate files involving spouses, minor children, family members of Romanian or Bulgarian citizens, family members of EU/EEA/Swiss citizens, family reunification with a non-EU resident, dependant documentation, civil-status records, custody and consent documents, translations, apostilles, legalisation, accommodation and sponsor evidence.

Complex questions about recognition of marriage, custody, adoption, prior refusals or contested relationships should be reviewed by an authorised lawyer.

A strong financial position is not, by itself, a visa category

Applicants with savings, property, companies or investment plans still need a legally recognised basis for entry and residence.

We can help structure preliminary information for commercial activities, company founders and administrators, self-employed or independent activity where available, investment-linked routes, representatives of foreign companies, intra-corporate mobility, property owners who need a lawful residence basis and people planning retirement or long-term relocation.

We will not market a property purchase or company registration as an automatic route to residence.

Long-term residence and permanent settlement

Long-term or permanent status generally depends on prior lawful residence and additional conditions. Time spent under some categories may count differently or may not count.

A planning review can cover residence history, continuity and absences, current permit category, income, housing, health insurance, family status, language or integration requirements where applicable, criminal-record documents, deadlines and document validity.

Final eligibility should be confirmed against current official rules and, for complex cases, by an authorised legal professional.

Our process

  1. Online enquiry form used to explain an immigration situation

    Tell us your situation

    Provide nationality, current country of lawful residence, intended destination, purpose, timing and whether you already have an employer, sponsor, admission or business basis.

    Preliminary route review

    We identify the likely route, critical unknowns and whether specialist legal review is advisable.

  3. Administrative immigration checklist and written scope review

    Written scope and cost confirmation

    You receive the proposed coordination scope, our service fee and expected external cost categories before work begins.

  4. Organised immigration document folders

    We create a working checklist and organise translations, notarial formalities, apostille/legalisation and third-party documents.

    File coordination

    We coordinate document exchange with the applicant, employer, sponsor, university, translator, notary, courier or authorised professional.

  6. Calendar used for a pre-submission review

    Pre-submission review

    We perform an administrative completeness review. This is not a guarantee that an authority will accept or approve the file.

  7. Applicant receiving administrative appointment guidance

    Submission and appointment support

    You receive practical instructions for the competent authority, appointment and required originals.

  8. Passport and travel documents prepared for post-decision support

    Post-decision and arrival support

    Where approved, we coordinate next administrative and relocation steps. Where refused, legal advice or appeal work is referred to an authorised lawyer.

Documents often involved

Depending on route, files may involve a valid passport, photographs and forms, civil-status certificates, police-clearance certificates, education and qualification documents, employment contract or offer, employer authorisation documents, company records, university admission, sponsor or family documents, accommodation, financial evidence, insurance, translations, apostille/legalisation, notarised declarations or powers of attorney, proof of lawful residence in the country of application, appointment confirmations and fee receipts.

Never send false, altered or misleading documents. Disclose prior refusals, overstays, removals and relevant immigration history truthfully.

Do not send bank-card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents in the first message. Begin with nationality, country of residence, destination, purpose and timing. Sensitive documents should be transferred only through an agreed process. See our privacy policy.

Fees and third-party costs

The total cost may include Prestări Servicii coordination fee, government or consular fees, immigration-authority fees, work-authorisation or residence-document fees, authorised translation, apostille or superlegalisation, notarial certification, declarations, powers of attorney, certified copies, courier and document delivery, insurance, medical examinations, document recognition, lawyer or regulated professional fees, employer, university, accommodation or relocation costs.

Official and third-party fees can change. A written estimate must distinguish our service fee from amounts paid to authorities or external providers. We never request unofficial payments, bribes or “special access” fees.

  • Prestări Servicii fees are confirmed in writing.
  • Official, consular, immigration, translation, apostille, legalisation, notarial, courier, insurance and third-party charges may apply.
  • No bribes, facilitation payments or unofficial government fees are requested or accepted.

What we do not promise

  • guaranteed visa approval;
  • guaranteed entry at the border;
  • guaranteed work authorisation;
  • guaranteed job offer;
  • guaranteed residence renewal;
  • guaranteed permanent residence;
  • guaranteed citizenship;
  • a fixed decision date controlled by us;
  • exemption from interviews, biometrics or personal attendance;
  • an EU-wide work right from one national permit;
  • approval based only on property ownership, savings or company registration.
Applicants worldwide

We accept preliminary enquiries from applicants of every nationality and from people lawfully residing in countries worldwide. Acceptance of an enquiry does not mean visa eligibility. The applicable route, documents, filing location and consular procedure depend on citizenship, residence status, destination, purpose and current official rules.

Each country name opens the selected official foreign-affairs authority or the strongest verified government fallback in a new tab.

Additional enquiries may come from people holding passports or lawful residence connected with territories and special administrative regions. Eligibility and filing location must always be checked individually.

Why use a coordination service?

One accountable contact

Instead of managing disconnected translators, notaries, employers, couriers and appointments alone, you have one coordination point.

Route before paperwork

We first clarify the likely route so documents are not translated or legalised without a clear purpose.

Written scope and cost separation

Our coordination fee and external costs are identified separately before work starts.

English-language support

The initial service is designed for international applicants and cross-border document communication.

Romania and Bulgaria coverage

The page compares two destinations without pretending their national procedures are interchangeable.

Practical relocation support

Visa or residence paperwork can be connected with accommodation, document delivery, property, transport and local-settlement services.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee my Romanian or Bulgarian visa?

No. Only the competent authority decides. We coordinate information, documents and practical steps but cannot influence or guarantee a decision.

Do you provide an EU visa that lets me live anywhere in Europe?

No. Short-stay Schengen travel and national residence or work rights are different. A Romanian or Bulgarian permit does not automatically allow you to work or settle in another EU country.

Can you obtain a work visa without an employer?

Many employment routes require a genuine employer and an employer-led authorisation stage. A separate job-search service may help identify genuine vacancies, but it cannot guarantee placement.

Can wealthy applicants obtain residence automatically?

No. Savings, property or company ownership may support some files but do not replace a legally recognised residence basis.

Do you help with permanent residence?

We can organise a preliminary planning review and document coordination. Eligibility depends on lawful residence history and current legal requirements.

Do you help with family reunification?

Yes, we can coordinate the administrative file, translations, legalisation and sponsor documents. Complex family-law issues are referred to authorised professionals.

Can you help after arrival?

Yes. Depending on the route, support can include residence-document steps, appointments, address evidence, translations and relocation services.

What fees must I pay?

You may have our coordination fee plus government, consular, immigration, translation, apostille, legalisation, notarial, courier, insurance and other third-party charges. We separate these categories in writing.

Should I send my passport by WhatsApp?

Do not send unnecessary identity documents or financial information in the first message. Begin with nationality, country of residence, destination, purpose and timing. Sensitive documents should be transferred only through an agreed process.

Can you help after a refusal?

We can organise documents and refer the case to an authorised lawyer. Appeal deadlines can be short, so professional legal review should be sought promptly.

Do you work with every nationality?

We accept preliminary enquiries worldwide, but eligibility, filing location and requirements vary by nationality and residence status.

Are Romania and Bulgaria in Schengen?

Yes, both are full Schengen members. This affects short-stay travel and internal border arrangements, but national immigration and work-permit rules still apply.

Start with a clear route, not random paperwork

Tell us your nationality, current country of lawful residence, preferred destination, purpose and intended timing. We will review the initial information, explain the next administrative step and confirm the scope and fees before work begins.
